Losing a loved one is extremely difficult, but we are here to help you through this very emotional and challenging time.
When someone dies…….
If death occurs at home, you should contact the deceased’s GP as soon as possible. After authorisation from the doctor, we will then take the deceased into our care.
If death occurs in a hospital, hospice or nursing home, contact us immediately and we will manage matters directly with the healthcare facility.
If the death is sudden, unexpected or the result of an accident it will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for further investigation. In such circumstances, there will be a delay of 2 or 3 days, after which we can help you make your funeral arrangements.
No matter what the circumstances, make us your first call 01764 65 65 67 and we can help guide you through the process. When you’re ready, we can either come to see you or we can arrange a visit to one of our funeral homes in Crieff, Pitlochry or Aberfeldy .
The initial meeting
There’s a lot to think about when arranging a funeral, but you don’t need to. That’s where we come in. We are professionals in this field and, from an initial meeting, can determine your options and costs very quickly. We are highly experienced in dealing with such circumstances and it is very important to us that you are happy with your loved one’s send off.
We will discuss what you would like for the funeral and match your preferences with the best options. We are experts in our field and can walk you through all the details, and as we do so, can relieve you of that added responsibility at such a traumatic time.
We care
We will look after you from the initial meeting to the funeral service. We will pull together costs and after you have decided on the format and the content of the funeral, we will implement the plan in its entirety – leaving you to spend precious time with your family and loved ones.
